As mental health professionals, we know the challenges faced by our clients are unique to the individual, couple, and/or family. The therapeutic process is not one-size fits all. Please be advised that during your counseling journey it is not uncommon to experience feelings of sadness, anger, anxiety or guilt. These feelings may be natural and normal, and are an important part of the process, but they may also be unexpected and confusing.
Although there are no guarantees, we trust there will be a reduction in feelings of distress and some resolution to the circumstances that brought you to us. You are encouraged to discuss with your counselor any feelings or concerns that you experience during the counseling relationship.
